A funny thing happened to Gordon Wendt on his way through Midnight City. He won $L100,000.

To help promote the soft release of their interactive in-world news kiosks, PR Newswire (full disclosure, they are a client of Aimee Weber Studio) is giving away four prizes of $L100,000 each (one of which was claimed by Gordon yesterday). For the next few weeks, a codeword will be embedded in some random press release at some random day or time.

So what would you do with $L100,000? Gordon Wendt posted this question on the official SL forums. The answers varied. Some folks said they would go shopping, some would buy gifts for friends, some would invest in worthy SL projects, and some would: "Cha Ching...cash it out!"

If you're more of a "sexballs and bling bling" kind of resident, there are still three more chances to win a hundred grand of your very own. But Gordon Wendt was a bit more modest as he confessed that he would likely use some of the money to start up a scripting business ... and then give the rest to charity. Aweee!
